Oxford and Cambridge universities rugby varsity match to take place on March 25, 2023 at Twickenham
Twickenham will once again be the setting for Oxford and Cambridge Universities when they face each other in next year’s Varsity match.
The two rivals will face each other in the home of English rugby on 25 March 2023 (kick-off 12 noon) as their husbands and wives try to claim their bragging rights.
In the latter game, the first weekend game between the sides in 75 years, the Oxford men defeated their Cambridge counterparts 21-17 in a closely contested match after the women battled it out in a 10-10 draw.

Oxford was the winner in the men’s Varsity last year, winning 21-17 against their historic rival
Former England fly-half Toby Flood was unable to inspire Cambridge to victory last year but this time has been named captain of the Light Blues.
The 37-year-old, who has won 60 caps for his country, is currently studying an Executive MBA at Queens’ College.
Ahead of the 141st men’s Varsity game, Cambridge led that run from 64 wins to 62 – with 14 draws.
On the women’s side, which will be the 34th game, Oxford led Cambridge with 20 wins to 13 – with one draw from last year’s showdown.
Last year’s women’s match was a 10-10 draw as honors were shared in the 33rd match.. Read more....
