Former Everton striker Duncan Ferguson has explained why the club turned down the chance to sign Erling Haaland.

Haaland arrived in England this summer to much fanfare from Borussia Dortmund and has lived up to his reputation as one of the continent’s foremost strikers, scoring 22 goals in his first 16 appearances for Manchester City.
