Exclusive to Ethan Ampadu: Wales and Chelsea midfielder talks Qatar World Cup ‘dream’, hopes and confrontation with England

 

Ethan Ampadu has told Sky Sports News it is “hard to put into words” what his World Cup squad means for Wales – stressing that Rob Page’s side will not be “entangled in the emotions” of England in Group B.

Ampadu, who has already played 37 caps for the national team since his debut in 2017, enjoyed the chance to participate in his second major tournament and to be involved in his country’s first appearance at a World Cup since 1958.
